Casual Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas

Good morning Filly Flair babes! Do you feel the love in the air? I'm hoping so because it's less than a month away from VALENTINE'S DAY! Can you believe it? Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays each year because it's a celebration of love for your friends, family, and significant other. It's only been the last couple of years that I've been able to celebrate this holiday with a real boyfriend, but even before then when I jokingly referred to this holiday as "Single's Awareness Day," I still loved this holiday! I used to buy teddy bears and chocolates for my best friend, and she always bought me those sprinkly heart-shaped pink and red cookies you get from the grocery store. It was a tradition amongst best friends, and even though we both have stable relationships now, we still look out for each other on this adorable holiday!

With Valentine's Day quickly approaching, it's time to be on the lookout for the perfect Valentine's Day outfit. Something that shows your festivity without being too over-the-top. Valentine's Day is on a Friday this year which means it's still a workweek day, but love is sure to blossom all through the weekend as well. Check out below what we deem as perfect casual Valentine's Day outfits:

1. Sweaters

Fun printed Valentine's Day sweaters are perfect for a day out and about on the town or at work. They are super festive without being over the top. You can wear these sweaters all day long without being too hot or too cold. They're just right for the brisk February winds in Sioux Falls, SD. All of these sweaters feature long sleeves, rounded necklines, and hit right along the hips. They're perfectly paired with jeans or even a cute skirt. You could also always do a front-tuck with the sweater as well to show off more of your waist-line. These sweaters are perfect for a casual Valentine's Day, don't you think?

2. Striped Tops

This adorable pink striped top features 2 festive shades of pink and then balances out with oatmeal and ivory. The front lace pocket is a beautiful dainty and ultra-femme touch to this long sleeve striped top. This top would pair perfectly with jeans or a skirt to be worn around all day long. You could even throw on a denim jacket to subdue some of the pink if it's too much for you. However you decide to style this top, it's sure to be a winner this Valentine's Day season!
