Plaid and Proud
What's up Filly Flair girlies! Today I just feel like there's a little extra pep in my step. I don't know if it's the coffee or if it's me finally getting a good night's rest, but I just feel really ALIVE today! So with all of this good energy and coffee flowing through my body, I wanted to write about one of my favorite prints: plaid! This on-trend print is such a fall statement go-getter, especially when it's a larger print in a nice bold shade like red or green. I'm already drooling at all of the plaid possibilities this season has to offer.
1. Tops
There are so many ways to wear plaid, but sadly it seems like when people think about plaid they go straight to the idea of a flannel tied up around their waist like a cowgirl. Now, don't get me wrong... There's a time and a place for fannel and southern belles, but there's way more to plaid than that! Check out these two tops below that feature really current and trendy ways to wear these fun prints!
2. Sweaters
Basic sweaters are fun, but they get a lot more fun with some print! We love these basics jazzed up with details like plaid sleeves and cutouts! You can easily pair these with jeans and booties for a look that's out the door in 10 minutes or less! The best part about fall/winter fashion is how easy it is to look great!
3. Pants
Some people may think they thought of stripes and prints across their thighs and bottoms is scary, but for others they want that extra pop to let your fashion speak for itself! Go all out with vibrant plaid joggers or keep it simple with pops of plaid here and there like these great skinny jeans on the right! Either look gives you so many styling possibilities.
4. Vests
Plaid vests layered over long sleeve tops or light sweaters are a total fall essential. Pair this combo with your favorite blue jeans, a long necklace, and your favorite pair of winter booties to create a look everyone envies. All eyes are on you when you rock these styles!
